Property value includes stamp duty?

Looked at a property today and the agent said the owners had bought it about 6 months ago for $1.7m plus stamp duty of $75k, so "$1.8m all up is what they spent and what they'd be looking for as a starting point". Just me, or a bit weird to include stamp duty, it's not actually part of the property value as such?

(They had also ripped the kitchen out and were selling it without a kitchen, so a bit odd all up!!)

Normal Director behaviour?

Moved into a new role a few months ago, it's a small team, a director (SEB1) and two direct reports (11/12s), including me. That's the team.

Director was asked to write a Secretary BN . Asked me to write it. I wrote it. Director then messages me telling me they are reading it and 'there is a word not needed'. Director says "I'll tag you to delete it". They tag me in the document....

Them tagging me in the document telling me to delate a word when they were already in the document looking at that exact word surely took three times the effort for the exact same outcome as them just deleting it?

Am I just grumpy and over-reacting because my Director says a Director's role is to think, not to do - which might me okay when you have a big team but NOT WHEN THERE'S ONLY THREE PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE TEAM? sorry.. shouting because it's 8am and I'm just about log on for a new day
