Hadn’t used it since 2017 mind you, but I recently pulled it out. Gave it a dust down and a new lease of life thanks to the community still supporting it.

I’m genuinely surprised by how modern it still feels to use given it’s over a decade old tech.

PlayStation Go 2

Saw these buttons online, thought they looked cool and I couldn’t resist.

The right controller is a PITA to take apart. There’s no resources online for it which surprised me. At least none i could find detailing a teardown.

A lot of ribbon cables, quite a lot of screws but thankfully all standard Phillips heads. The tricky part was pulling the PCB out to access the buttons. Took more force than anticipated, but likely because I didn’t remove the mouse sensor.

Good to know that the analog stick module and battery are easily accessible and replaceable at least.
