Hi everyone, welcome to week 2 or the weekly listening club thread focused on her released music.

The idea is pretty simple - each week we’ll pick one Phoebe/boygenius/BOCC song and use the thread to discuss it in depth. Favourite lyrics, live performances, interpretations, production, memories attached to it, rankings, whatever you want really.

Today we’ll be discussing Killer, which seemed appropriate given Phoebe performed the song for the first time in 7 years last night

A few prompts if you want them:
- What was your first reaction hearing it?
- Favourite live performance/version?
- Which part of the song hits hardest for you?
- Where does it rank in Phoebe’s discography?
- Has your opinion on it changed over time?

* Flyers have been handed out on campuses, at coffee shops, and record shops from about 10:30am for same day shows.
* Venue capacity is about 400.
* Tickets will sell out very quickly. If you’re more than an hour away, you are unlikely to be successful.
* Tickets priced at $50 + taxes
* Your wristband is your ticket.
* One ticket per person.
* You must be there in person to collect your wristband. No exceptions.

We have had a specific request from Phoebe’s team to not allow any lyrics to be leaked so from this point on any lyrics that leak will be removed.

This community has always been highly respectful of Phoebe’s wishes so we have faith you will continue to observe her wish for her art to be shared on her own terms

If anyone of you see someone post lyrics without realising they’re not allowed please report it to us so we can remove it
