Phrida 2.0 - A local music Player with tons of customization option
Hello, I’m looking for beta testers for Phrida 2.0, a major rewrite of my music player app for iOS. There are 50 slots available.
Version 2.0 is basically a new app: every view, playback flow, queue system, local library handling, statistics logic, and much of the underlying architecture has been rebuilt from scratch.
The app supports both synced iTunes library content and locally imported audio files, with a unified playback queue, local metadata/artwork handling, lyrics support, statistics tracking, smart playlists, audiobook support, and Airplay/Google Cast integration.
I’m especially looking for testers who can help stress-test:
- Playback with synced and local files.
- Queue behavior and shuffle logic.
- Artwork and metadata loading for local files.
- Lyrics fetching and lyrics editing.
- Statistics tracking and correct behavior
- Smart playlists generation and variety.
- Google Cast playback.
- Audiobook metadata/playback especially chapters support.
- General UI performance and loading times.
- Achievement tracking and support.
Premium version can be unlocked for free during the beta phase to test every available feature.
Any feedback is useful: bug reports, crashes, confusing behavior, performance issues, UI suggestions, or feature ideas.
Thanks!
