Where are transportation designers actually getting hired from in 2026?

Asking because LinkedIn and Behance feel completely dead for our field.

Genuinely curious. I have asked maybe 15 designers in the last month and the answers are all over the place:
“My old boss DMed me on Instagram”
“A guy from Pforzheim posted about a role in his story”
“Recruiter found me through a friend”
“Cold emailed the design director”

Almost nobody said “I applied through a job board and got hired.” So what is the actual hiring channel? Is everyone just relying on personal networks? What does that mean for people who do not have one yet?
Designers, hiring managers, recruiters, weigh in. Where is the real flow happening?

Is there any design platform that i can find list of automotive design jobs?

P.S
CDN is useless
