Is this normal level of tretinoin purging?
My acne was getting worse, mostly on the cheeks sort of our of nowhere after having years of good results on 0.018% tretinoin. My dermatologist increased to 0.05% 2 weeks ago and now it's even worse and I'm having the worst acne of my life. Does this seem like a normal level of purge? Is there anything I can do to help? I was thinking about getting a facial but not sure that would help . Any advice appreciated.
Routine:
AM: wash with Trader Joe's Nourish All-in-One Facial Cleanser, Trader Joe's mineral facial sunscreen, +/_ MISSHA BB cream.
PM: was with Trader Joe's face wash again, Cetaphil moisturizer, benzoyl peroxide on acne, 0.05% tretinoin.
