Not sure if this has been asked here before, but Richard Henshall released his solo EP Mu Vol. I in 2024. He announced there would shortly be a Vol II. Two singles were already released for II, but the latest one is two years old already.
Will Vol II ever be released? Or do we count these two songs as a full EP?
So I was browsing the Jackass vault when I encountered Degenerates In America. Some really gnarly stuff in there, including our Zackass.
A quick google search later I found out one of those guys has released a couple more movies that sound interesting to me. Does anyone know where to watch these, or can share a link to some random sketchy streaming site?
Death Magnetic is a top 3 album for me, right below Master and Justice. Yeah most of the lyrics are terrible and the production isn't that great, but I come here for the music. Every song is packed with one amazing riff after another and really takes you on a journey.
Cyanide is the only weaker track I'd say (with still a killer bridge section). But the Beyond Magnetic EP makes up for that with another 4 amazing songs (with equally bad lyrics though).
What are your thoughts on this one?
I really did enjoy Best and Last. Sure, it's the lowest ranking of the five movies, but I had fun nonetheless. The only thing that felt kinda weird to me was their editing choices. All the new stuff felt like they hastily had to go from one bit to the next.
Why did a complete room of the escape room seem to get cut, why did the pretzel game cut from one single poop to the entire floor being a giant mess without anything in between, why didn't they show any of Dave's hits as a marionette, why did all Rachel's parts get cut? Especially when they showed so many bits from the older movies, it just seems weird to me that all the new parts feel incomplete and hurried, just because there's no context given or 'bts' interactions shown.
Yes, the movie itself was hurried, but with different editing I think it didn't have to feel like that. They really had some substantial new bits that would work I feel.
Okay, so you guys remember the last time Mikael and Steven saw each other? There was so much left unsaid, and I feel like this reunion might rekindle their romance. Now hear me out and picture this:
Imagine Steven stepping in through the heavy wooden door of the studio they showed. Mikael stops in his tracks and looks him in the eyes, his heart stopping for a second. It’s been 14 years since they said goodbye with heavy hearts and stuffed pockets full of unsaid words. Steven looks up, and his eyes go wide and bright, like two shiny marbles caught in the sun. They just stand there looking at each other. The longing between them isn't sharp. It’s like a big, fluffy cloud filling the space between them. Mikael’s arms are probably tingled with the memory of Steven’s last hug, which felt like being wrapped in a blanket straight out of the dryer.
Without another word, Steven reaches out. He takes Mikael’s hand in both of his, holding it like it’s a fragile, precious baby bird they have to keep safe from the wind. Steven’s thumbs trace the back of Mikael’s knuckles in slow, sleepy circles. It’s a secret code, a gentle touch that means I missed you, I missed you, I missed you. "Your hands are cold," Steven says, his cheeks turning the color of a ripe strawberry. "They were waiting for yours to warm them up," Mikael replies. They sit down side-by-side on the velvet bench. Their shoulders bump and then slowly some of their other parts get softly pressed together, sharing a cozy, secret heat.
Mikael's fingers move just a little too excitedly, and whoops! Steven's thighs jiggle. His sweet cummies and Mikael’s warm tea go splish-splash, spilling and mingling together in a big, messy puddle on the floor. They both freeze for a second, then burst into the brightest, giggliest laughs. As they clean up the sticky sweet puddle, Steven’s fingers entwine perfectly with Mikael’s. They look at each other with crinkly eyes and matching smiles, knowing that the goodbye-monster is officially gone, and they are finally, wonderfully, warmly home in each other's arms.
God I can't wait for this new record.
So Rob Trujillo joined in 2003. That's 23 years ago. The band started in 1981, which is 22 years before 2003. That means 'the new guy' Trujillo is now longer part of Metallica then all other bassists combined.
And fuck, that also means St Anger is now older than the midpoint of their career...
