Anyone from Austin TX could weigh in on Job market and pay?

I read that there are a lot of hospitals and clinics in the area. I read that there are a lot if shifts available in both hospitals and clinics. But in my experience reddit is the best place to ask for real values.

If you are from the area, could you tell me what so you think about it? MRI, ARRT, 10+ years experience. Looking for a clinic job. How much would they pay? What does the workload look like ie how many pts a day?

So I trimmed my beard and tried the F30i again. I really like it because the tube is above the head and it really feels like not having a tube at all.

The issue I am having even with my beard trimmed so the seal is better, I run out of water in the Airsense 11 very quickly. I feel a lot of air escaping the elbow joint on top of the head. I assume it is normal but I think thats also where the humidity is going.

I have to dial the humidity down but it dries my mouth.

Am I supposed to do something different? What am I missing?

I wear the P10 and love it. It feels like nothing. However, air keeps coming out of mouth as soon as I hit the REM cycle. So I purchased an -F20 and cannot stand it then a F30i and while ai can tolerate it, it seems to not make a good seal. I used the F30i for 2 nights and woke up with the worst dry/sore throat I ever experienced. The water tank empty and I must have breathed in dry heated air most of the night due to the poor seal and massive leaks. I have a beard.

My pressure is 7-8. I tried chin straps, neck pillows, mouth tape and it didn’t change anything. I was gonna try double or triple mouth taping because if Air cannot escape it will maybe work but AI raised a good point that if there is a nose bleed or vomit I could suffocate. Never had any of those at night but I am getting older so it seems risky.

Anyone has any suggestion on their experience? Either to fix full face f30i leak or keeping mouth shut woth p10?

I ordered the Inspire Uplift, it gets here today. Looks like a pacifier. Aside from that I got nothing else to try.

i have been using a CPAP since January so 5 months. I have been using the p10 pillows and loved them but recently I started suffering from air in my mouth due to my jaw opening after a few hours of sleep. That paired with stuffy nose due to allergies has led me to try full face masks. I was using s F30i and I would wake up with the machine not running but I don’t know why.

Also the water tank would be empty in the morning. So turned off the auto start and auto stop. The machine worked but I would have extremely dry mouth and throat in the morning. I lasted 3 days. Then I started getting a sore throat.

So I went back to the p10. But now I have what is one of the worst head colds and cough in a long time. Any of you experienced that? I think it was the CPAP maybe with a leaky mask that dried my throat but I wonder if it’s just a coincidence.

I normally clean the machine and tubes once a week. I have no pets and live in a clean place. I never seen any visible deposit or even dust on my machine.

I wash everything by putting it in a warm water filled tub with dish soap. Then dry with a UV light plus drier thingy.

Any advice?
