Are TAB paying to be included in the Sky coverage before (and at half time) of the games? And if not why are they allowed to promote gambling in the coverage vs paying for an advertising slot?

If you want to bet on sport you can, but it feels off to have TAB officially included in the pre-game coverage. It makes it seem Sky and NZRU are supporting them.

With the damage gambling does in NZ I’d have thought there’d be more pressure to exclude them. Seems they’re getting a lot of exposure.

I’ve had one online order to Wellington that took ages to arrive. This was not long after opening so put up with it.

Trying to order again and for the least few weeks when I’ve tried their delivery options are weeks away and often when you go through checkout they then say they’re unavailable.

I don’t understand why they’re still taking ages to ship or not even processing online orders. Everything is listed as in stock and available in store.

How much of this is them being shit vs still high demand?

With the team to be announced I’m curious how their contracts work.

For example if a player has only played Super Rugby and gets named for the ABs squad, do they get a new contract/pay reflecting they’re now an AB?

And similar what happens if someone who’s a highly paid AB isn’t selected?

Does the pay/contracts impact selection? Is there pressure to pick high contract existing players?

From the outside it seems a combination of form and retirement makes room for new debutants, but it’s unclear how player contracts could inform selection. If someone is dropped what happens?
