I currently am slowly building my team on chronicle mode, and I'm finding extremely hard to enhance my players rarities, I was wondering if turning off the auto-equipping would be worth it, but i'm so scared i would lose important stat points when i level up, what should i do?

I know that you can use the bond board to select which characters will be your coop moves partners, i'm trying to use it with sakuma so he's the main shooter of the hissatsu, but other character always take the spot, is there a way to make the placements in the hissatsu more specific? or it is always predetermined by the game?
