When I was going through many different discussions on Bilibili, I found a comment which talks about Cyrene Trailer: With you once more. Here in this trailer we can see first part of the image from Cyrene's for the point of view. In the first image we can see a square shaped on all the CH, excluding Caelus. On the very next scene we can see all the CH dead on the ground while Cyrene is seen standing in the middle. Here we cannot see Caelus. There the interpretation can be the very thought of Caelus dying is something Cyrene can never imagine. In the, Forth Finallity or "Memories End Ending" we can see Trailblazer losing as they are on the ground and "As I Have Written" is being corrupted by the influence of "IronTumb." It is also said that in that ending Trailblaze lost and the moment Cyrene saw Trailblaze in danger and out of fear of losing them (In "Myroid Celestrial trailer 8" a drop of Trailblazer's tear fell on the ground as they were surrounded by flames) Cyrene froze the whole universe along with all the memories on it while taking everything connected to Trailblazer. In this ending only two beings (Cyrene and Trailblazer) existed in the universe. She protected him from the Aeons war till Remembrance became the "Forth Finality."

In the v.3.7 when IronTumb delivered its final judgement on the universe and tried to eradicate everything, Cyrene while fearing the loss of Trailblazer absorbed all the memories of the universe while turning into a "seed," leaving Caelus in a Paradise. According to studies done on CN, there was a chance that is where the "Forth Finality" would have taken place as everything in the universe was completely destroyed, and Cyrene had observed the memories of the universe. This is the reason why Kafka told Caelus that, "She will carefully treasure and protect everything you and the Astral Express have experienced, until that magnificent war between the gods when she, with 'love' in her heart, will ascend at the end of time to become the master of causality. The universe will be snuffed out in the Destruction, and you and she will become the beginning and the end of the Eden of Blessed Insight (Image-2)." This is the reason why Kafka and Himiko told Caelus to make the right decision. According to the decision we could have had "Forth Finality" as the end. Here Caelus chose to save the universe, thus we got the ending where "Irontumb" is defeated.

The last one is Cyrene's to go back to the past to maintain causality. When we are talking about "Cause and Effect" we have to keep in mind that, v.3.0-3.7 is the original timeline. Everything that followed in that timeline and many choices actions by Cyrene is connected to her going back to the past at the end of v.3.7. In v.3.6 we can see the Ripples of Past Reverie saying, "I bid farewell to this beautiful world, so that we can reunite in your memories in the way I want. You will see the footprints I left behind in the ripples of past reverie. I have never had any other fate beyond this memory. So, please remember me with 'love', like that eternal footnote in all the faded sagas. Now, open this book. I'll be waiting for you in the past." In "As I Have Written" Cyrene Chapter 5, we can see Cyrene saying the same thing, "I'll be waiting for you in the past." This is basically a confession of Cyrene to Caelus about making a decision of her own to go back to the past to protect Caelus future. In v.3.7 "The Hurta" gives her two choices. One is to travel with Caelus and Astral Express as a Memosprite or go back to the past to maintain cause and effect. Hurta tells her, "If you want my advice, stop thinking so much. Ask yourself what your heart truly wants." The moment she says Caelus name as she says, "Even I can tell how much they mean to you, especially Caelus. But if you take the second one... Then you may have already lost the chance to say goodbye" Cyrene immediately makes our mind go to the past as she says, "I have made my decision, Madam Herta." Cyrene is well or of the consequences of the cause and effect. Without her acting as the Psudo Fuli of Amphoreus, and anchoring the time line by "looking back" Trailblazer would have died back in v.3.0 (as they were struck by Nikador when they came to Amphoreus and Cyrene "looked back" and turned them into a chunk of memories till Castorice revived them after taking the authority of death in v.3.2). By going back to the past and "Looking Back" she basically anchored the timeline of v.3.0-3.7. If Cyrene had not gone back to the past, the future where Caelus existed may have ceased to exist, making the v.3.0-3.7 never take place (no "hero within or her own voice saying "Caelus will find you" would not have existed, Cyrene would have not waited for Caelus for 33+ million cycles and IronTumb would have not been beaten and came back). This is the reason, before going back to the past, she declared care about Caelus "most" while having "sorrow" in our heart as "he" was the "hardest thing" she had to let go. She did not protect the future, but the future where Caelus exists as she cares about him the "most." The consequences were a lot more tragic than you think. In cycles Cyrene was basically killed two times. At the beginning of the cycle she is killed by Kaslana to start the cycle and at the end of the cycle where she gives her memories to Demiurge. In the Infinate recurrence this is happening continuously unless she is saved from the cycles. To meet Trailblazer again, each Cyrene in the recurrence waited for a shooting star in the sky while looking for a shooting star in the sky, while showing desire to be called Cyrene again by Caelus (Cyrene PV: Goodbye Cyrene). She embraces millions of her own deaths to see them again. This is the reason in the second image we cannot see Caelus while all the CH died while Cyrene took Caelus place. She gave Caelus the future at the cost of her own while waiting billions of years, embracing millions of her own deaths just to see him again. In "The Longest Night | Cyrene's Bed time Story" Cyrene says, "Embrace the tomorrow that yesterday has given you." Cyrene is "Yesterday" and she gave her "future" for the sake of the person she cares about the most as she sacrificed herself.

This a topic I wanted to discuss for a long time. First let me explain some grounds. Cyrene is a memetic entity or Memosprite companion of Caelus. Memetic enity are highly connected to memories of their partner (Caelus). Here they can easily view and record memory of their partner and can see their memories and experiences. For example, in v.3.5 we can see Smol-Cyrene showing Cydra the memories of Caelus’s previous adventures throughout the Galaxy, such as expedition of Hurta Space Station, Balagog, Xianzo, and Penacony. This is also seen in other characters connected to Remembrance as Evernight is was able to create and mimic some of the memories of March 7th as they created different events from the past to connect Caelus in memories (please forgive me if I am misken about certain expect of Evernight as I am not a Evernight main). Cyrene’s existannce is also completly connected to Caelus remembering her. In v.3.5 when Caelus was trapped in Exomyth by Lygus, Hurta tells Smol-Cyrene, “That means your existence is completely attached to Caelus's memories. If there ever comes a day when he forgets about you for even a few seconds or loses his last connection with Amphoreus…Then you must be prepared for the worst. You will disappear in the Memory Zone, utterly gone, without even a single line of data to remember you by.” It is connected to the two if endings (1. Distruction ending 2. Frozen ending) in “Myroid Celestrial trailer 8” where in the Frozen Ending or the Forth Finallity, after Caelus failed to protect Amphoreus, in order to Protect Caelus she froze the entire universe and all the memories in it for eternity, where Cyrene and Caelus was the only being in existence as they had each preserve each other existance. Cyrene's existannce is protected as long as Caelus remember her. On the other hand, Cyrene in her Fuli state had turn Caelus had to look back, into a chunk of memories similar to how she saved him when he was struck my Nikador's spear and had crash landed in Amphoreus in v.3.0 till Castorice revived them in v.3.2 after taking on the authority of death.

In “As I Have Written” “Mem Exe” we can see both Mem (Cyrene) and Caelus waking up as the same time as Mem says, “Did our hearts connect in a dream? (Image 1)” In Chinese is says “是我们心有灵犀,在梦里相见了? (Image 2)” or “Did we have a telepathic connection and meet in our dreams? (Image 3)” Here Mem specifically uses the word “telepathc connection” to them being conneced the through dreams. In v.3.4 Cyrene Hangout Event “Ripples destined to Rise Again” we can see the samething happening as Cyrene tells Caelus “yawn*~ I'm feeling kinda sleepy... Time for some shuteye. See you in dreamland… (image 1)” or in Chinese “呼~感觉有点困了……是时候闭上眼睛,去梦里相见啦, (image 2)” or “Whew-I'm feeling a bit sleepy... It's time to close my eyes and meet you in my dreams. (Image 3)” Before her last goodbye after v.3.7, she tells calls Caelus the samething as she says,“*yawn* I'm feeling kinda sleepy... Time for some shuteye. See you in dreamland… (image 1)”(CN: “呼~感觉有点国了……是时候闭上眼睛,去梦里相见…………… {image 2}” or ENTL: Whew~ I feel a little sleepy... It's time to close my eyes and meet you in my dreams…{image 4}). This protential means she is connected to Caelus in a “telapathic” way and can view his memories. In the end of v.3.7 Cyrene says,"The stars across the cosmos will know: I am the fairy who wrote As I've Written together with Caelus. "And in Caelus's heart, I know I will always be given the name I love most, the one you gave me. After all, we've always been in sync.” Here we can see her knowing “As I Have Written” will reach the stars. In v.3.7 After Story “As I Have Written” we can see Caelus spreading the word of “As I Have Written” to many planets and we see a vision of Cyrene as she says, “Stay strong… eyes forward.” This becomes more evident in her "3rd Anniversary letter" as she says, “I saw it when As I've Written turned to a new page. Together, we wrote a gentle ending to the chapter named Flame-Chase Journey... The newly reborn Amphoreus quietly awaits its sequel. This must be the tomorrow you see, right?” Here she talks about “newly reborn Amphoreus” for which she should not have any knowledge about as she has left for the “past” before his events took place. Not only that. Both felt a connection even before Caelus reached Amphoreus as when Lygus was showing Caelus events before the eternal recurrence, the hero within Cyrene connects to Caelus and they were able to feel a "connection" between them and can feel Caelus presence in the form of “déjà vu\~♪” Caelus is able to able to recognize her as he says, “Is that you…?” (Hinting he was able to recognize her thought they have not met yet). All this evidence makes me believe Cyrene is still connected to Caelus in a “telepathic” way even though she is trapped in the cycles and can see some of the events in Caelus’s journey as they are still in “sync.” I would love to know more if anyone wants to discuss and add more to it.

Description: It has been sometime since I worked on a longer project like this. The background took the most amount of time to fix though it could definitely be better. The lighting on the characters could be better along with all the characters color grading but I am trying to improve.

My Thoughts and Inspiration: Think back to "The Longest Night | Cyrene's Bedtime Story." Before saying goodbye to Trailblazer and leaving for Cyrene left a beautiful story for them. She told them ""Be sure to always remember this day, friend. And then... Embrace the tomorrow that yesterday has given you." Maybe we never found the meaning behind it till now. What was Cyrene telling Trailblazer before leaving? She left them in the future at the cost of her own. Remember the last dialogue exchange between Cyrene and Herta before she left for the past? The moment Hurta said, "Choose the first path, and you might survive as a memosprite. You may even walk beside them (the Astral Express) for a while. Even I can tell how much they mean to you, especially Caelus,/Stelle. But if you take the second one... Then you may have already lost the chance to say goodbye." The moment Hurta said that Cyrene says, "I have made my decision, Madam Herta." Why did she give up her own future? Remember v.3.0 where TB has come to Amphoreus and was struck by Nikador and died? Cyrene had to gaze back at TB and then turn them into a chunk of Memory to save them till they were finally revived by Castorice at v.3.2, after she took on the authority of death. If she had not gone back to the past Trailblaze would have died. It is like saying, "I gave you my future so you can see everything I will never be able to see." Remember what Cyrene said before leaving for the past? She said, "As for the one wish I still have trouble letting go of... One will remain in the past... One will walk toward the future. I believe that the one I cared for most... Will witness on behalf of the Ripples of Past Reverie... Every starlit tomorrow."

Sometimes humans become so consumed by hate and anger they cannot even see the truth infront of them. Everything she did after coming into this world was to protect TB. In the Frozen ending or Forth Finality in Myroid Celestrial 8, the moment TB was in danger (Remember Stelle's tears falling on the ground as the wound was burning) she froze the universe for eternity to protect them. This is also call "Memories end ending" in CN as Cyrene had froze the universe along with all the memories in it, where only TB and Cyrene was the only being in existence for all eternity. During the final battle of Amphoreus when Irontumb delivers the final blow, Cyrene fearing losing TB, had absorb the memory of the universe while turning into a "seed" while leaving TB at a paradice hoping they will be able to awaken her just like their first meeting. She sacrificed multiple times for them as she cared for them the "most."

"So make sure to treasure the tomorrow that yesterday has given you and witness on behalf of the Ripples of Past Reverie... Every starlit tomorrow."
