MT/WY 4th of July trip-looking for advice! 🇺🇸

I’m starting to plan a week-long trip around the 4th of July through Montana/Wyoming, with Yellowstone, Grand Teton,Jackson Hole, and possibly West Yellowstone. I’ve been before, but never for this weekend!

I REALLY want to make sure we get to the Livingston Roundup, but I’m trying to decide whether to go the before or on the 4th. For those who have been, is there a particular rodeo day that’s better than the others? Or are the days pretty similar?

The goal this year is to make as much of the classic small-town 4th of July experience as possible (parades, rodeos, fireworks, patriotic events, etc.) I am planning to bring my mom who has never been to this amazing part of our country, and I want her to have the best possible experience celebrating her favorite holiday. She’s very patriotic.

Where would you recommend actually spending July 4th? Thanks!

Stuck on which hotel…

First time visiting Outer Banks. We are coming for five days and I’m stuck between the John Yancy Inn or the Hilton Garden Inn, Kitty Hawk. Looking for suggestions on which one is nicer. We want great beach access, with waters that we can swim in, and clean rooms. We are open to driving around, but don’t want to be bored in the area. Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks!

We are trying to decide between The Little White Chapel and Love Story. When I think of Vegas weddings and envision my photos, the outside of LWC is so iconic Vegas, but after researching a bit, I do love the chandeliers in Love Story!! I also like that Love Story includes photography for the ceremony. Either way, we want to have Elvis marry us. We also have an outside photographer to do photos around the strip after. Not sure which option is better! Help!
