Hi everyone,

I’ve just moved to a flat that only has south and west facing windows, and the only window with enough space for my orchids is one of the south facing ones. (I’m in the UK, London area btw.)

Can anyone help me with some advice on how to protect my orchids from the sun please?

I think I read somewhere that there is some kind of film you can stick onto windows that gives UV protection. If so, would this be adequate? I’m guessing this would prevent the leaves getting scorched, but not sure. Wouldn’t they need more protection from the heat though?

I’m getting worried about what to do as the weather will start getting warmer soon!
