CST considering RN

I am currently a scrub tech, but I am heavily considering going back to school to be a RN. I have most of the classes I need to apply and would work PRN while in school. I would more than likely stay in the OR as a circulator, but sometimes I just feel like circulating is boring. I would much rather be scrubbed in and hands on. At my facility the nurses do not scrub, so that’s not really an option. I’m kinda torn. I like my job, but the pay could be better. Pay isn’t the only reason I want to do nursing, but it is a huge benefit.

Lately, I have decided I want to get into reading. I enjoyed reading while I was in school which has been 5 years ago, but as an adult, I don’t love the thought of buying multiple books or constantly going to the local library. I have been looking into the kindle paperwhite as I think it would be best fit for my lifestyle. I am worried about not using it as much as I think I will. I am wanting to read a little in the evening before bed instead of playing on my phone, on the weekends, and while I’m on the boat while the hubby fishes. Is it worth it??
