Kitcodes just hit 100,000 lookups - thank you!
For those that don't know; A while back I built Kitcodes (https://kitcod.es) because I kept second-guessing shirts I was buying online. You check the product code on the tag, and it tells you what the code should be; manufacturer, year, kit type. It covers Adidas, Nike, Puma and a few others.
We just hit 100,000 lookups. Genuinely didn't expect that when I launched it. So: thank you. Every lookup was done by someone who wanted to know more about what they were holding, and that's exactly what the tool is for.
A few things I'd love your input on:
- Any features that would make it more useful when you're buying secondhand?
- Anything that confuses you about how it works?
- If you use it, what do you do when a code isn't in the database?
- Would you be interested in a space to contribute kit knowledge, codes, and discuss the stories behind the kits, not just the codes?
Happy to answer any of your questions too!
