api alternative to vidsrc, vidlink etc
looking for alternative api such as vidsrc, vidlink, vidcore etc.
building an app. and want to some fall back so if one fails it tries the next. Ive tested vidsrc, (vsembed) and others right now im using vidcore. but I see other sites where they use sources that already have hd version of obsession for example. where the servers that vidcore uses don't. If anyone could point me in the right direction id appreciate that a lot.
streaming app for mobile and tv 90% complete
Update adding 4k support where avaible.
You’ll be able to set your preferred quality in settings
If 4k is chosen it will test servers if 4k is avaible you’ll get 4k. If not it drops to the next one 1080p and so on. So whatever quality you select in settings it aims to get that one and if not avaible it drops down to the next one.
Bug : provider window elapsed with no usable m3u8 → next server
Currently fixing this error for 4k
Still a few minor bugs.
but its an actual app, not a web app. no add ons required. you can sign up for an online account, or go local. what's the difference, well with local if you uninstall everything gets cleared. online saves your watch history, favorites etc.
video above is just an example. completely ad free. Hoping to be completed and ready for beta testing by end of the weekend.
currently working on language support. so you'll be able to select your preferred language and that is what the app will be set to. so the app will be in your language, video will automatically have the subtitles in your language. also currently looking for source for audio dubs so audio can be set to your language (quite a challenge) and just a few minor bugs.
playback is smooth, loading times can vary. but for the most part it works. so ill dropping it very shortly and hope to get some recommendations. this is just example of the mobile app, there's also a tv app. so skip the airplay/casting.
mobile example: streamable . com /5jpofz
tv example : streamable . com /cwfokp
remove spaces.
my ad free app
simple and easy. movie series and live sports including Fifa World Cup.
built for tv.
no ads
note, I still need to make changes.
- movies that are not released yet. need to disable play
- few ui fixed.
so if you trying to play example. Spiderman brand new day and nothing loads. well thats because its not out. simple as that.
I also don't have control over what is available, and the quality.
some movies they going to have onlyflix or xbet watermarks. thats out of my control.
also remember its free.
get apk file from here
ptadagod . github . io / velix2 --- remove spaces.
now if you wanting a website, the reason why I built an app. I did have a website but I couldn't achieve what I was trying to achieve but
A website can’t capture the stream: browsers block pages from reading an iframe’s network requests, faking Referer/Origin headers, or bypassing CORS. Those three powers — which only the native app has — are exactly what makes Velix work.
also if loading takes long it is most likely not the app but either connection issue or source. so turn wifi off then back on, force stop the app and reopen. remember its beta so there's gonna be a few bugs. things may break.
Built a streaming app for android/google tv
Like the title says. I built a streaming app, its a apk, you install it but allowing unknown sources. not a website, but an app that you can download, install and watch movies, series, and right now. the Fifa World Cup. or any sports for that matter. Ad free . no sign ups.
my app captures the .m3u8 link from the source, you click play, it opens the movie in a web view that happens in the background. this is the sandbox, this is where the ads sit, completely invisible to the eye. while its loading, ( vsembed or vidlink) its waiting for the m3u8 link, once captured it passes it too exoplayer and plays it. no embed player with ads built into it.
now because we are capturing the m3u8 link first time loading of a movie or series, can take some time depending on your tv. which I still debugging, notice the app is faster in my emulator than it is on my actual tv.
if anyone wants to try it out. let me know.
but if you like to check it out, if you would like the source code, via GitHub, I can provide that also. looking for feedback.
