I have a Endo biopsy scheduled soon. Not really asking for advice on the pain bc I have had one before and it was traumatic. However, my dr prescribed me 1mg Xanax and 5mg Percocet to help. I’m reading that these shouldn’t be taken together and now I’m worried bc I really don’t take any prescription meds and wondering if this is even worth it. Has anyone taken these two together and been fine lol? I feel silly asking but everywhere is saying it can cause breathing problems, Uugh.

I have had a uterine biopsy in the past to prep for my myomectomy and it was horrible. I too was told to take advil/aleve prior but it did absolutely nothing. I have decided to move fwd with my hysterectomy and now have to do a biopsy again and I’m dreading it and the traumatic pain. This time my new obgyn is giving me Percocet and Xanax. I’m wondering if anyone has done two biopsies in their lifetime and if the second time was better since you were given proper pain meds? I’m desperate for hope.
