rereading Sapphire Battersea at the moment and i’m at the bit with that lovely family she met when her mother was sick. they were so sweet and genuinely fond of her and offered her to move in with them, not as a servant but as almost family?

I would genuinely be SO interested in a book of Hetty from 10-14 in the hospital. We don’t really get too much of her actual time in the hospital. I know that it was very boring exc exc but I do love jacqueline describing everything in such detail and would love to see her tween years in the hospital. any friendships/enemies formed, antics, outings with Mrs Smith, exc.
I know it’ll never happen but I sometimes wish she didn’t do such a time skip, I understand why she did and I probably just feel this way because I adore this series and hetty so much
