high schooler trying to figure out if i need to pay taxes on tutoring business

For context, I'm 17 years old and my friend and i started a little 'business' where we find students who need tutoring and match them with our friends who want to tutor and take a cut of the money. for example, if jonathan pays $50 / hr for tutoring and we hire sam to tutor jonathan for $30/hr, we make $20/hr profit. This month, we have made $1200 in profit with all of our tutors/students in our classes. My partner and I are splitting the money 35/65 in terms of equity so I get $420. My question is, at the end of this year, will I need to file for taxes? For context, I'll turn 18 next month so I'll be an adult before the end of the year (in case that's relevant

should i use my remaining 0.5 cu?

hi! i’m an incoming freshman in CAS majoring in math. currently enrolled in math 2200, cis 1200, cis 1600, and a writing seminar. We have a 4.5 credit limit in CAS for the first semester so i do have 0.5 left. i saw i had a few options for classes i found somewhat interesting relating to AI ethics and stuff. but definitely not something im super keen on. should i take it to fill up to the 4.5 limit or should i fade? definitely excited to get involved in clubs / research / projects but not sure how available that would be first semester freshman year so maybe will have extra time that’s worth filling up with the class?

any inputs would be appreciated - thanks!

WTF - Draftkings won't give me my money?

Randomly woke up one day not being able to log into my draftkings account. I emailed them and they said the account is "ineligible for reinstatement". I asked them "why" or at least for my money back and they said 'due to the nature of the closure, no funds would be available for withdrawal'. WTF. Thankfully I just had about 20 bucks deposited but how is this legal??? What can I do?

Is SIG’s “Virtual High School Discovery Event” prestigious?

Asking because I just got in but the application on the website was pretty poorly formatted and I don’t have any olympiad awards or anything like that. I’m finishing 12th grade and heading into college this fall.
