One year ago I received this holed and welded 1857 Seated Liberty Quarter, and figured it made the perfect keychain pocket piece candidate. How did I do in the past year?

Came across a local listing for this M1 Carbine made by Inland GM with a ‘44 barrel, extra stock, ammo, 15 mags, and reloading dies all for $1,500, seems alright.

The stock and sling interest me though because the sling has Korean text on it and the stock also seemingly has Korean or some southeast Asian characters on it, possibly a regiment designation? I have very rough Korean War knowledge to be honest. These are the clearest pics from the listing, any more info is appreciated y’all
