Help picking location, Vic

Hi, not sure what agency I’m going to apply to but I was thinking Vic. Anyway, I’ve heard it’s best to apply to a specific base, so my question is what base would be a good one for me to apply to!
I want a location that gets fire, it’s somewhat interesting with some restaurants or coffee shops, and somewhere where I’d have a chance to get in, so not super busy.
I was looking at Gippsand Devision, possibly.

I have 7 years of BCWS firefighting experience in Canada and I just got my work visa.
Thank you!

I’m applying to FFMV

Help picking location to apply

I’m looking into doing a season of wildfire in Australia for forest fire management Victoria. I’m from Canada, with 7 years of experience with BC Wildfire and I just want to do a low expectations season with Australia, hopefully in a town and area that is interesting and not too secluded, and also hopefully in an area that does get fire. All in all I am not being picky, but what I have gathered is with Victoria fire I’m going to want to apply to a specific area during my application. So I’m having a hard time picking an area. Any recommendations?
I’m looking at the Gippsland decision, like Erica or Dargo, or maybe Port Phillip? Are these areas getting tuns of applicants?
