WARNING for future xkix no buyers

I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering purchasing from Xkix.

On April 6, I ordered a pair of shoes and was promised delivery by April 18 for a specific event. I even paid extra for expedited shipping—$148 for the shoes plus $10 for faster shipping. The seller then instructed me to send payment through PayPal Friends & Family to avoid additional fees, bringing my total payment to $162.73.

Despite the promised delivery date, the package was not shipped until April 20 and was not expected to arrive until April 27, well after my event. Since I no longer needed the shoes, I repeatedly asked the seller to contact FedEx and have the package returned. I personally contacted FedEx multiple times and was told that only the sender could request a return. The seller repeatedly claimed they had contacted FedEx, but when I asked for proof or call logs, they never provided any and consistently avoided the question. When I followed up with FedEx again, I was informed that no one had contacted them regarding the package and that there had been no requests to return it.

After months of attempting to resolve the matter, the seller sent a $100 refund. However, the refund was sent through PayPal Goods & Services as though the seller were purchasing something from me, despite requiring me to pay through Friends & Family in the first place. When I asked why I had not been allowed to use Goods & Services originally, I never received a clear answer. I requested the remaining $58 (excluding fees) of the purchase price and informed the seller that I intended to report the matter to PayPal and my card issuer. Shortly afterward, the seller opened a PayPal dispute regarding the $100 refund because I said I’d report this situation. Xkix won the case, and recovered the money.

As a result, I am currently out $162.73, an additional $20 dispute fee, and still have no product, as the package remains held by FedEx. Everyone should make their own decision, but based on my experience, I would strongly encourage buyers to exercise caution and fully understand the risks before sending money to this seller.

*apologies for the typo in the title*

i’ve been scammed out of extra money from xkix

i know this probably isn’t the place to put this information, but there’s been a long ongoing dispute between me and xkix (middleman). i’m debating if i should drop all of the information to spread awareness for their future buyers?
