I’m in the Bay Area looking for a 2026 CR-V Hybrid Sport-L in Canyon River Blue.

Going through Reddit, I saw quite a few people getting around 10–11% off MSRP on the Sport-L during the June/July timeframe. Unfortunately, right now most Bay Area dealers I’ve contacted don’t seem willing to go much beyond ~5% off MSRP.

I’m willing to travel to SoCal if the deal is worth it. Has anyone bought a CR-V Hybrid Sport-L recently, especially after the June/July rush, and still managed to get a strong discount?

Would really appreciate it if you could share:

- Dealership

- Salesperson’s name

- Approx. % off MSRP or selling price

- Whether there were any mandatory add-ons or conditional rebates

I have been following this guys for a long time and usually he is very unbiased. His take on car quality has me second guessing now!

​I recently test drove the Palisade Hybrid and noticed some distinct differences in the drive modes. Eco mode felt surprisingly jerky, particularly during the handoff between the battery and the gas engine. On the other hand, Sport mode was incredibly smooth and drove exactly how you'd expect the car to feel. I also noticed that the jerkiness in Eco mode was much more noticeable on the AWD model compared to the FWD.

​A couple of questions for the group:

1. ​Has anyone else experienced this rough handoff in Eco vs. Sport, or noticed the difference between the AWD and FWD?

2. ​Has anyone tested the actual real-world MPG penalty of driving in Sport mode instead of Eco?

Hey Folks, can you comment what has been the most annoying issue you have faced with your Palisade Hybrid so far(positive experiences are also welcomed)? Besides the seats issue leading to stop-sale, 12V battery draining, Airflap getting stuck and vibration between 55-75mph in AWD models are the main ones I have heard.

Has anyone reached close to 7-10k miles and faced any oil dilution or excess consumption issue with this turbo+hybrid powertrain?
