Regular can change his scheduled days off?

New RCA here, but basically the regular guy that runs the route messaged me a month ago saying he was planning to take a week off. Cool. I let my other job know, and they said it was cool too. Now she messaged me today saying that she changed the days less then a week left. Schedule still shows me working those days, and managers just kind of shrugged and said it happens, is there anything I can/should do? Because now I'm out those hours at USPS and my other job just because they don't want to use vacation days?

Correct "grade" for AC filter?

Not sure the correct term, but I've almost used 3 but last time I bought filters Home Depot had level 5 on sale. I usually do 3 because I guess it was good enough? None of my family has seasonal allergies or anything like that, so I'm not sure I need more then trying to keep the AC unit working at it's best.

I live in north Texas, if that matters. So we do have a fair amount of dust in the air, but the filter is inside and I do maintain the outside unit.

Smell after cleaning P trap?

Cleaned a P trap in my guest bathroom about 6 months ago, and doesn't smell until I run some water and within 30 seconds or so it goes away, but it happens every time I run the water not just the first time (I thought maybe it needed to 'refill' the trap?). The reason I think it's got something to do with the P trap is because it didn't happen until after I cleaned it. Any help would be appreciated.
