I have a few questions

Long story short, I’m really into watches but only just started collecting, as of right now I have an spb 121 alpinist and the murph from Hamilton. I have three criteria for a watch (the murph kinda breaks one) one, this needs to be something that is special enough to still be cool in 20 years as I intend to pass these down to my kids. Two, I want a bracelet from the manufacturer not third party. Three, these need to stand up to some pretty substantial abuse, I work in the oilfield (not on an oilrig but still dirty work) so it needs to be able to withstand a considerable amount of shock, slight chemical exposure, and just overall getting dirty. Are ball watches a good fit for this? I love the overall design and the rainbow tritium gas tubes are super neat, I just want to make sure if I spend the kind of money it takes to get one that it would hold up over time (I’m aware that every 10-13 years I’ll have to spend a small fortune to get the gas tubes replaced and that it basically requires a new dial)
