Preferred candidate after today's interview

I just received a call back from an NGO HR manager and, after applying, having a phone interview and then a f2f today, I am the preferred candidate and, it feels amazing.

I am ending my final placement with DCJ ,while working 7/7 since March, on the 29th, and I am flabbergasted about it. I knew there were other candidates with experience in human services roles so, I was thinking that, my not direct experiences in such a specific role, would have been an issue. I am a mature student who has been working in hospitality and corporate roles prior to commencing the SW degree course.

The role is Case Manager with a government funded program in the family and children space while navigating separation or mediation. The role is about needs assessment, case planning, pathway referral services, advocacy and the provision of Psycho social education- information.

Just wanted to share my experience. Thanks for listening.
