Yeast infections
I have always been prone to yeast infections. But lately, I’ve been getting one every time my boyfriend and I have sex. Was tested for STI’s, etc. only thing that came back positive was candida. I am on continuous birth control and have been for about six years. We do not use protection and most of the time he does not pull out. Without fail, a few days after sex I get a yeast infection. I have taken OTC Monistat and fluconazole. I am fine until after sex and I get an infection. I do not know what to do. I have a gyno appointment in a few weeks but I’m looking for help now to see if it’s something I can fix myself. I can’t just not ever have sex again but these infections are so debilitating. Also, I wear only cotton underwear and we have started using a water based lubricant.
