KYC Problem in Poland

Hello,

I'm writing because I've run into a serious problem with Coinbase. I've had my account for several years, and I originally created it using my passport.

Recently, I deposited $130, only for my account to be locked due to an identity verification requirement. I didn't think this would be a major issue, so I started the verification process. However, it turned out that neither my Polish national ID card nor my Polish passport would be accepted.

After several hours of talking to customer support, I was told that I could only verify my identity using a driver's license. Since it was late at night, I decided to leave it and try again the next day.

The following day, I tried once more to verify using my ID card and passport, but they were still rejected. I contacted support again, and after several more hours of conversation, I was informed that in my country (Poland), identity verification is only possible with a driver's license.

This makes absolutely no sense. Not only was my account originally created using my passport, but now I'm being told that I must have a driver's license to verify my identity. As everyone knows, not everyone has a driver's license, and obtaining one would cost me around $1,000–1,500 and take several months.

On top of that, Coinbase does not allow me to withdraw my funds until I complete the verification process.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Were you able to resolve it somehow?
