Possible Hard Mode unlock bug when getting 100% scans on your first Standard playthrough?
I may have found a very specific endgame bug involving 100% scans and the Hard Mode unlock in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
This was my first playthrough, started on Standard difficulty. I collected 100% of the items and 100% of the scans.
After defeating the final boss, I reached the Mission Complete screen showing 100% items and 100% scans.
However, instead of getting the ending animation where Samus plants the seed, I got a black screen. After returning to the r u, Hard Mode was
still locked.I then reloaded the same save and fought the final boss again, but deliberately did not perform the two final scans, leaving me at 98% scans / 100% items.100% items + 98% scans → Hard Mode unlocked
