Anyone have confusing test results

My ALT and AST are currently 29 (down from a high of 36 and 32, respectively). All other liver markers are normal. I had an ultrasound that said “minimally echogenic hepatic parenchyma suggesting very mild fatty infiltration.” It also saw a mildly dilated biliary duct so I was sent for an MRI. Everything in the MRI came back totally normal so the mild dilation may just be my anatomy.

I asked for a fibroscan as one last peace of mind test. 3.2 kPa so no fibrosis but 300 CAP, meaning severely fatty liver. I know the fibroscan is meant for this but if my liver was truly in stage S3, wouldn’t the US and MRI have seen more evidence? I read a study that said fibroscan is actually good at overestimating the fattiness. Has anyone had an experience like this?

*the reason I asked for all these tests is that my mother was recently diagnosed with cryptogenic cirrhosis at 65. She has been obese and diabetic her entire adult life. I am neither but I do have some very positive autoimmune markers. The doctors thought perhaps my mother had autoimmune hepatitis so I asked for a full liver panel.
