German new guinea was a colony located in Kaiser-Wilhelmsland(North shore of nowadays Papua new Guinea) with following territories in the Pacific ocean: the Northern Solomon Islands, the Caroline Islands, Palau, the Mariana Islands, Nauru.The colony existed for exactly 30 years from November 3, 1884, to September 1914. After the treaty of Versailles Germany lost all of its overseas territories including the German new Guinea which was split between Australia, Japan and Great Britain.
