- Jake Stringer definitely won't be at the Giants next season. Pies are still exploring a possible move for him

I watched Gettable so you don't have to - "apparently I've got 3 options"

- As reported earlier this week, Collingwood have an 8 year offer at around $14 million for Zak Butters (PA). Cal still thinks the Pies are unlikely to secure him

- Salary cap wise the Pies have no issue paying $1.8mil per year for Butters and $1mil per year for Lachie Neale (BRI). They cleared $3 million over 4 years parting ways with Bobby Hill

- Pick 2 would be the starting point if Butters went to Richmond + other pick swaps. Butters choosing Richmond is likely the best result for Port Adelaide

- Cal still believes there's no clear frontrunner in the Butters chase between the Pies, Dogs, Cats and Tigers

- It's now expected that Giants ruckman Kieren Briggs gets to the Tigers

- Rowan Marshall (STK) still has interest in getting to Geelong

- The Bulldogs are among the clubs to have shown interest in Sam Marshall (BRI) and Nathan O'Driscoll (FRE)

- Dougie Cochrane (PA attached) is still tracking to be the No.1 pick after his 2nd game back from injury on the weekend

- Cody Walker (CAR F/S), Gus Teixeira, Arki Butler, Harry van Hattum, Heath Mellody and Ethan Drever are the 5 players also expected to be around the Top 5

- Adelaide has tabled an extension to Izak Rankine through to 2032. His game against Richmond on the weekend was ranked as the best individual game in 10 years by Champion Data

- Essendon are among the clubs looking at Adelaide's Luke Pedlar

- Melbourne's offer to Tom Sparrow is 5 years. Port Adelaide's offer to him is much more lucrative

- Rhett Bazzo is set to re-sign at West Coast until 2029

- West Coast have a 1 year offer on the table for MSD pick-up Marcus Herbert, Carlton are interested in him, and likely aren't the only Victorian club interested

- The sense is that Scott Pendlebury wants to play on at Collingwood next year, but has no contract offer on the table yet

- Geelong and Carlton are interested in Hawthorn's Calsher Dear, along with Melbourne

- Calsher Dear (HAW) has interest from Melbourne. As does Bailey McDonald (also HAW) who has a 2 year offer on the table from the Hawks

- Jake Rogers is set to stay at Gold Coast on a 2 year deal

- Arki Butler, Gus Teixeira, Ethan Drever and Harry van Hattum are all in contention for the open pool No.1 pick

- Talor Byrne is set to sign a 1 year extension of his draft deal to 2028

- Richmond are very much in the chase for GWS ruckman Kieren Briggs, who's a UFA

- Player Manager Scott Lucas joins the show

- He says there's no benefit to players coming out and saying where they're playing next year, unlike in the NRL

- Tom McCartin has begun preliminary discussions with the Swans about extending his deal there beyond 2027

- There's also been preliminary discussions about re-signing Liam Stocker at St Kilda, however Matt Flynn (WC) wasn't mentioned in the same way by Lucas

I watched Gettable so you don't have to - "More Domino's here than a Uni student's diet"

- It remains to be seen whether Gold Coast will match a bid and force Hawthorn to trade for Ben King, or if they take the compensation pick

- Ben King going to Hawthorn probably rules out Bailey Humphrey from also going to Hawthorn

- Cal believes a first rounder plus one or multiple 2nd rounders will get Zach Merrett from Essendon to Hawthorn

- Calsher Dear (HAW) won't be short of takers if he looks to move. Yet to receive an offer from Hawthorn

- Kieren Briggs still has no offer from GWS. Whilst Jesse Hogan's contract talks at the Giants has been parked until the end of the year.

- Toby Greene still wants to get to Geelong next season

- Riley proposes a club could overpay for a 2nd Port player in exchange for Port Adelaide not matching a bid for Zak Butters (dunno if the AFL would approve this)

- Riley mentions "it's 50/50 at the moment" between Zac Bailey staying at Brisbane or moving to the Crows

- North Melbourne could go up to a 5 year offer for Nick Murray (ADE). Adelaide probably wouldn't entertain that trade though as they'll likely lose Jordon Butts fo the Bulldogs

- North Melbourne have 2 year offers on the table for Zane Duursma and Riley Hardeman

- Jordan Ridley has hinted he may stay at Essendon again, due to both Queensland clubs being unlikely to chase him

- Interest is building amongst rival clubs for Ed Allan (COL). He's yet to receive an offer from the Pies

- Carlton's offer for Buku Khamis (WB) is 4 years, whilst the Bulldogs is 3 years

- Adelaide has tabled a new deal to Mitch Hinge

- Jake Rogers (GC) likely sees his future at another club. Collingwood is the club to watch there

I watched Gettable so you don't have to - Callaghannnnnnnnn

- Cal believes the Pick 18-25 range is the most even group and could change a fair bit before draft night

- As previously reported, Jesse Hogan (GWS) is absolutely gettable, with the Pies and Suns interested. Cal believes he won't be at the Giants next year

- Jake Stringer (GWS) has interest in finding a 4th club if need be, potentially even a move to the Swans. No offer on the table from GWS yet

I watched Gettable so you don't have to - Rhythm and the Mellody

- Jack Crisp will play on at Collingwood next year through a contract trigger

- There's no doubt Carlton F/S product Cody Walker will fetch a bid in the top 3 now. The Blues will be in the hunt for more picks in this year's draft to accommodate that

- Fremantle won't be in the trade/FA market unless a player specifically wants to come to them

- Hawthorn still want both Zach Merrett and Bailey Humphrey. Multiple players may need to be traded to get the draft capital for that though. Jack Gunston is likely to play on next year

- Under 18s championships start this weekend, Cal lists 25 players to watch

- The 25 are: Will Antrobus (VICC), Arki Butler (VICM), Harrison Chapman (VICM), Ethan Drever (VICC), Kodah Edwards (SA), George Gale (WA), Sam Gayfer (VICM), Hudson Graham (WA), Mitch Harris (SA), Ethan Herbert (SA), Xavier Ladbrook (VICC), Wil Malady (VICC), Ethan Matthews (ALL and GWS academy), Jake Medved (ALL and SYD academy), Heath Mellody (WA), Marlon Neocleous (VICC), Gale Patterson (SA), Jackson Phillips (VICC), Lucas Robinson (WA and FRE NGA), Clancy Snell (VICC), Leo Steed (WA), Gus Teixeira (VICC), Harry Van Hattum (VICM), Cody Walker (VICC and CAR F/S), Noah Williams (VICC)

- AFL Head of Football Performance and List Management Justin Reid joins the show

- Clubs can only receive an extra compensation pick for having a bid matched, if it's their natural pick. E.g, if the team with Pick 1 trades for Pick 4 and Pick 5, then has that Pick 4 slided back, they wouldn't receive the extra 2nd round compensation

- Compensation picks for clubs that lose players to Tasmania under the "anyone is an RFA" rule, could be done on a case by case basis and be multiple first round picks

- The AFL will review whether the SSP period could be open for longer than the current March 1 deadline

- Trading picks in the mid-season draft has been shelved for the time being. Could still happen in the next 4 years

- Jarman Impey looks likely to re-sign for an extra 3 years at Hawthorn

- Jacob Hopper (RIC) is "very gettable". Issue for him is finding a taker
