Women’s FR Shirts

I know this topic seems to be an annual thing so let me go ahead and kick off this year’s discussion.

Have any of you girls discovered some unicorn FR shirts I don’t know about yet? My Carhartt Force is fraying at the cuffs and neckline and needs to be replaced.

What are we wearing as our daily driver? Bonus points for lightweight, light colors and durable.

Temperature Monitoring Options

All,

I am looking for a way to monitor temperature across a 160,000 sq ft manufacturing facility.

I’m specifically trying to get tangible temperatures to start a documented work/rest cycle when their work areas reach a certain temp for heat illness prevention. Some of our processes generate heat and can be much hotter than other areas of the floor so it makes using just a single temperature on the floor inefficient.

Also don’t want to write it so vague that my office staff is claiming they need to go home because one of their 12 ACs is broken and it’s 76 in the office.

There is metal walls in between half of the manufacturing floor and another metal wall in between them and my office so I think I need something that uses wifi to a dashboard not necessarily proximity to monitor.

What are you guys using?

Annual Audiometric Exams

Anyone using anything that makes these any easier to administer? We use a mobile van and while I generally appreciate them, the service we get, the ease of the notices, etc. Every single year it’s a headache with people who are on various forms of leave and various make up tests.

I know where I worked previously we had our own booth with a COHC certified administrator that ran the tests and they went to some doctor in the cloud to sign off on - but I have no idea what that setup was through.

Is something like soundtrace is offering legitimate? How difficult is it to transfer records from one vendor to another. We don’t have any local occupational clinics that can support re-tests or makeup tests. The closest I can find is an hour away.

Safety Leadership Summit in St. Pete

Has anyone been invited to attend the safety leadership summit in St. Pete in November or done these with NSC in previous years? I know anything that’s free means I’m the product but just curious if anyone has gone to these previously or can offer more insight on them?

I went to the safety leadership conference a few years ago so I assume that’s where my info came from for an invite.
