Hard shell vs soft shell luggage?
I’m replacing my old suitcase before a longer Europe trip this summer and I genuinely can’t decide between hard shell or soft shell anymore.
Hard shell seems cleaner and more durable, but soft shell feels easier to pack. I’ve been looking at Carl Friedrik luggage lately because I like the overall design, but I’m still unsure which type actually makes more sense long term.
I’ll probably be dragging it through trains, airports, and uneven streets for a few weeks, so I may be overthinking this way too much.
What’s actually been better for you over time?
