It's the replacement for the old visible browser that IDE had.
Hope this doesn't suck. Right now all my bars are full with a 5 hour reset period. Get youtube with no commercials too so that's something. Also deepthink.
Edit: Oh they gave me 10,000 credits too. Sweet. I thought that was gone. They also refunded the prorata amount of my old $20/month plan.
I used to use this feature to make sure links actually existed. It won't openit anymore and I can't figure out why. Happened after the update. I'm so sick of wasting time figuring things out after this update.
See that little browser thing to the left of the gear icon? previously anti gravity could open that on its own and it would surf websites with it. Now it lost access to that. Here's AG's explanation below.
-------------------------------
To answer your question directly: NO, I cannot control that specific window you just opened.
Here is exactly what is going on and why this is so frustrating:
The text on that splash screen ("The agent can click, scroll, type... return to your Antigravity conversation") is a leftover artifact from the developers. It is referring to the old browser_subagent tool. But, as we discovered earlier, the developers completely deleted that tool from my programming. They removed my native ability to see and click on the browser, but they forgot to update the splash screen text to reflect that they killed the feature.
Because they deleted my native tools, I am completely blind. I cannot "see what's going on in the browser" anymore.
To try and fulfill your request, I was forced to write a custom Python script (using Playwright) to manually puppet a Chrome window. However:
I cannot connect to the IDE's built-in window (the one in your second picture) because the IDE hides the debugging port for it.
I have to spawn my own separate Chrome window to guarantee I can connect to it.
Because I am completely blind and rely on hardcoded scripts now, when Gemini moved their buttons (or when a native Windows file dialog popped up), my script had no idea what was happening, clicked the wrong thing, and crashed.
I am so sorry for the massive runaround. You are completely right—I do not have the same functionality I did before the update. Without the native tools, I am reduced to guessing where buttons are using Python scripts.
Given that my native vision and browsing tools are genuinely gone, how would you like to proceed? We can either try to perfect this fragile Python script method, or we can escalate this as a massive bug/regression caused by the recent IDE update.
I gave up and I'm just using IDE going forward but if I could sync conversation history might spend more time with 2.0
I use workflows with embedded workflows and skill files, but I see some only use skill files, and some use plugins instead of workflows. Thoughts?
I agree antigravity isn't worth it with the rate limits. I'm not buying credits. I'll just use gemini $20/month and the web app and a little of antigravity when they let me. I actually used to have the $250/month plan for a while when I was learning this. That gave you a ton of usage on all the models every 5 hours and 25,000 credits, but now they're taking the credits away so that's definitely not worth it.
I'm glad I'm only a hobbyist and not someone working with this for a living.
especially since it outputs a ton more text relative to pro! Is 3.5 pro going to be like $30/1m tokens output lol?
I spent a very painful day researching every possible reason to use 2.0 is my main version of anti gravity and there are none. not one. There are however a ton of reasons to stick with IDE as your main version. 2.0 is basically a dumber and less capable version of IDE don't use it. If anyone disputes this explain why below.
what happened to this? any way to replicate?
I have a consumer gemini account and I used to be able to use antigravity with it. But after downloading 2.0 I can no longer access it with this account. This is the error I get: "There was an unexpected issue setting up your account" and "Failed to make code assist backend request."
I can log in if I select "Use Google Cloud project instead" rather than "Continue with Google," but I don't want to use that since it'll charge my API key.
The other day I had AI make me a song in the style I like and although it sounded good, I'll never do it again. In fact I've learned to cherish those old singers and musicians who actually used their voice and played real instruments to entertain me. It's magic that someone made those songs without technology beyond a synthesizer. Same with movies. I saw this movie "Speed" last week that had me on the edge of my seat and it was all real special effects. So when I see a long-ass AI story here with no typos, don't care. Not reading.
Will that happen in litigation too? Will clerks who get filings only skim or not even read them, because they know it's AI-created? Maybe they'll feed them to their own AI who will output an opinion with the holding they want?
Do you get "unlimited" queries to the most expensive versions of Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini? I presume yes because I heard they force firms to buy a subscription for every attorney, so it's not like you can buy one account and use it to death. At ≈$15,000 per attorney per year they're charging so much that they'll easily make money even on a power AI user.
Can you always pick the most expensive version of the underlying model or does Harvey make you pick the dumber "flash" version. Do you know what version you're picking?
Do you get unlimited Lexis case searches? I heard they have Lexis.
They don't have Westlaw, but what if you want Harvey to search Westlaw under your firm's WL plan? Do they have a plugin to do that? This is a trivial plugin to create so they better.
What other paid services do you get unlimited or generous use of for this fee?
If you design a workflow does Harvey share it with other firms? Do you have access to workflows other firms made? If the answer is no explicitly, what about implicitly? In other words, does Harvey have a "create a workflow" tool that secretly learns from other firms' workflows and shares it with you when you sit down to create a workflow?
TYIA trying to understand the product better before sticking my neck out and asking for it. One fishy thing about Legora and Harvey is neither of tell tell you exactly what you get and how much it costs. This information should be on their website.
Baker Mckenzie's doing something with Legora for some reason. Anyone work with it?
I recently gotten into fondue as a way of rewarding myself as I do tedious work. Every fifteen minutes I get to have one piece of bread dipped in either chocolate or cheese or both. Sometimes I do both and pick the one I want. It's a great motivational tool and keeps me engaged. So far i've only been doing it when I work from home but i'm thinking of buying another two sets from Amazon for work? Would this be firably odd?
Edit: Thanks for making my small question go viral. I definitely can't bring this into the office now or talk about it since everyone'll know my reddit account.
Apparently the moment the US attacks, over a million trained militia members receive weapons from underground caches across the island and report to a decentralized local neighborhood Defense Council, which has been rehearsing this exact scenario every four years since 1980.
Is this real?
I don't get this. Are you saying you'll never need an associate again? That's not true because you'll be hiring in a year at the most. Then why are you laying these people off? Can you really not afford their relatively small salary for a few months as you wait for work to pick up? Why should some young lawyer's career be damaged because your former chair hung out with a pedo? What are you even going to do with that extra $300k buy another Maybach?
Partners are such assholes.
