A few years ago, my first Rolex was a 36mm Explorer.
Clean, understated, and a little bit tomboyish—exactly what suited me at the time.
Since then, my style has softened quite a bit.
So this time, I wanted something with a little more sparkle.
When I saw this green diamond dial, it immediately felt right.
The olive-toned dial shifts beautifully in the light, and the diamond hour markers add just enough shine without feeling overdone. The mix of steel and yellow gold keeps it classic, while the green gives it personality.
It feels elegant, feminine, and still easy to wear every day.
Maybe there are more complicated pieces out there, but this one feels like a perfect stopping point for me.
At least that’s what I’m telling myself.
