I've tried twice to book stays for which the dates I wanted were available. In the first case, the host rejected the request, saying the room is not available. The second, the host said they are rejecting because they would prefer somebody checking in a day earlier.

Is this AirBnB policy? That hosts can advertise dates as available and then not accept requests to book on those dates? I have stayed at AirBnbs several times before and have never had this issue. It's insane - my bookings just sit in limbo for a day while I wait to see if it will be accepted.

My dept caught (1) people sneaking cue cards with questions and answers out of the bathrooms and (2) people with decoy phones today!

Enough!!

(We should brook no quarter for cheaters. Immediate expulsion if you get caught red-handed like this.)
