Satellite ETF suggestions for VGLA core.
I am a new investor, 35yo and currently all my positions are in VGLA (/VALL).
As a beginner I like the "XXXX and chill" idea as I don't have the knowledge to do something more aggressive, like picking individual stocks.
I try to the news, study the market, learn how indicators work (btw I use Trading view for that) in my free time. And I was interested in the core + satellite strategy but, again, not with individual stocks yet. Probably around 90%-10%.
What would you recommend that complements VGLA? It can be a single ETF or a combination of ETFs. So far I'm interested in:
- momentum ETFs like IS3R
- specific sector ETFs like SMH, QTUM
- a bit more exposure in US, eg SPYL
A few days ago I wasn't aware of momentum ETFs for example. There must be many stuff I am not aware of yet. Feel free to suggest anything that sounds interesting, promising etc so I dive into it and study. Also good sites/books/videos for beginners would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
