What might a post-knowledge economy look like?

In most conomics classes I've taken, there is generally the idea that economies progress through stages based on which sectors comprise the majority of economic output:

  1. Pre-industrial economies in which the majority of output comes from the primary sector.
  2. Industrialized economies in which the majority of output comes from the secondary sector.
  3. Post-industrial or knowledge economies

in

  1. which the majority of output comes from the tertiary and other "knowledge-based" sectors such as education and consulting.

I'm aware that this model is an over-simplification in some ways, but it lead me to speculate as to what a fourth "post-knowledge" stage of economic development might look like. Is such an economy possible? If so, what might it look like? Where would the majority of economic output come from?
