So, I have loads of topics I follow and this tick took just made shit super clear.
Something said can sound sincere & true because emotionally the person saying such things feels they are are being honest. "I love you I'm here for you." Those in our lives who say that we tend to accept. It goes deeper if the person backs it up with actions all the better.
Love is a genuine feeling trust......is evidence and verification. I know I got the feeling part but I also grew up watching my parents and others not backing up the words with actions therefore I counted on the feeling but I never trusted the actions or follow through. Damn weather born from the little cult or not that just hits man.

I've been out of Celebrate Recovery for a few years now. I rose to leadership level however several reasons and just poor timing got me away from the program not like I'm angry at Celebrate Recovery I made loads of progress. But I digress. Recently a very good friend of the very few brothers from Desert Storm I keep up with has successfully completed rehab I'm proud of him any way mind went back to visiting my parents. And one of my mothers friends was a hopeless alcoholic well, she went sideways during Bible class on a Sunday morning when our family happened to be there at the time so I'm a younger charismatic not so well adjusted and she (the alcoholic) is manifesting a bit of her demons the preacher was totally afraid as everyone in the room. I remember laying hands on her and nothing really happened finally an ambulance was called and she was hauled off to detox. I hadn't thought of these situations before but it hit home these people can't cope.
If that happened at a charismatic church all the little old ladies would have cast out every demon and had her in her right mind. Ya there is no way these fake idiots really know what to do or how to address any issue I'm sure there was some Karrn & elder meeting discussing how do we get rid of her? Just a little something going through my head today

I visited Store House church in Farmers Branch Texas seen services on You Tube the lead female pastor has been interviewed on Robby Dawkins podcast. I'm hoping to hear from any who attend especially if you have Been there over a year.
I thought about posting this on the cult group itself but I already know I will either get the post taken down or have laim excuses and half ass answers.
So, I've noticed quite a trend on here. In one way or another there are several heart breaking stories of separation, parents choosing the cult over the children. Not even on ""big issues " I mean they love & worship the cult & politics more than thier own flesh & blood or adopted children? Who the f does that? I know they refuse to read the Bible outside thier sacred path and if they had to there would be a billion reasons why Luke 15 doesn't really say that.
I think it's the most terrible thing any human can do to cut off a child because they no longer fit the mold or in some way violate a parents cult rules etc. I guess I will never understand it just breaks me how can you treat your child like shit because they are____ (insert what ever topic here) unbelievable the depths of evil they go to so that thier beliefs are safe and they feel vindicated it sickens me that these pew warmers can somehow live with themselves and Cary on as if nothing happened.
