Not getting notifications about new followers? That's probably because Twitch's security system thinks they're bots!
I was in contact with Twitch for over two months because I noticed that some of my followers weren't showing up in my activity feed. Last night, I finally received what I assume is their final response.
I'm slightly irritated because for weeks no one could give me a clear answer, and then suddenly I was just told about their top-secret security system. A security system that—to no one's surprise—doesn't seem to work properly. Personally, I feel like at least 40% of my followers from the last few months haven't shown up in my activity feed—people who chatted with me for 10 minutes.
But yeah, I know that some other people have had the same problem, and at least there's an explanation. But that seems to be about it.
