I apologize if this is a ridiculous question, but I try not to be "that parent" with my kids daycare because I do love their daycare.

TLDR; am I annoying if I ask for my kids water bottles to come home with them every day?

Recently my 3.5 year old daughter has come home super thirsty. Before reaching out to her pediatrician, I reached out to the daycare asking if she was drinking during the day; they said very little. I asked her why she wasnt thirsty at school, and she said her water "tastes funny."

Her water bottle comes home with her once a week, they wash it daily at school. I have noticed they use a HEAVILY fragranced dish soap and even though she has a stainless steel water bottle, it definitely takes on the fragrance as does the straw (which is plastic).

Am I annoying if I ask for both my kids (child #2 is a year old and can't talk yet) water bottles to be sent home with them every day?

Thank you for reading, and thank you to everyone in this sub who has ever posted. Lurking in here really calmed my anxiety when we were starting daycare because I see how much everyone truly cares for the kids.
