Lovely Lavender
Many years old and have never seen a lavender sky!

Many years old and have never seen a lavender sky!
Have UHC medical from TX TRS. For the past year my blood sugar has stayed 1/10 of a point lower than “diabetes” and doc said it wouldn’t get approved. On meds for Afib and heart issues but that didn’t qualify me either. Finally gained 20 more pounds and he said let’s try to get you approved because I have OSA and use a Cpap. He sent Rx last month to Express Scripts. Denied. Requested appeal. Doc filed again. Got another letter saying approved, then another denial. Called multiple times and finally found out that it was denied because it wasn’t a 3 month script and they said it had to be sent to an in-network pharmacy. I had to contact doc again to ask them to send it to my local pharmacy. Waited again several days, no word, and called them. “Oh, our suppliers don’t have that available, you’ll have to use a chain pharmacy and let us know where to send it”. Checked with Sam’s Club and they said yes. Called back pharmacy and once again listened for 15 minutes to Dracula music and AI saying they value their patients and thank me for my patience - and frankly I wasn’t a patient, patient anymore. But, 2 hours later called Sam’s and they said it was ready!
Long post, but point is, don’t give up! Be your own impatient patient advocate, keep pressing in and making those phone calls. I’d still be waiting and wondering if I hadn’t. NO one called me to let me know what was going on, including the pharmacy I’ve used for 20 years.
Bought some extra healthy food and picked up my Rx. Tomorrow is a new day!
Thought you might want to see the receipt. Guessing they were hoping I’d drop it after seeing it.
