Andrew and Ashley show themselves to be the more responsible parents already compared to Renee and Douglas, by allowing both sides of their shitty family to see their child…

I mean, people have had discussions about the duo’s potential parenthood before and generally came to… unfavorable conclusions… but now that we actually see a timeline where it happens, we see a tiny slice of their living situation and their demeanor and their new baby… what do people think now?
Me personally, I’m still very skeptical. What was shown was likely not kind of ‘good ending’, because that would be one of the LAST things to be shown in a devlog preview, and Renee and Douglas both being alive are a major red flag for how real the timeline is… I think there will be something majorly fucked up with this timeline that we haven’t seen yet (as it’s TCOAAL after all), and Andrew and Ashley would have to work through so many of their personal issues to even have a shot at being good parents (though this is just my opinion with the limited info we have… what do YOU think?)

I don't know when this happened... the image for the April 2026 devlog was originally the blushing Ashley CG... but now it's this drawing?... What could it mean?

While TCOAAL does have a mostly set narrative path with branching outcomes, there are some moments where the player can “fail” and get a dead-end or fail state (usually as the result of making poor physically choices, unlike the more character driven choices that drive the branching paths), and the game allows the player to go back and “try again” (Leyley Wins and Deadest of Dead Ends could arguably fall into this description, maybe?). Out of these dead-end / fail-states, which is YOUR favorite?
(I like the Graves in Graves fail-state and the sequence before it… the choice sequence beforehand with the cops is a really good gameplay/dialogue sequence with plenty of funny moments, the CG of Ashley with the gun with drawn Andrew in the background with the “She misses* is hilarious… and the symbolism of being buried in separate graves, showing the siblings never end go a chance to try and be closer before failing…)
I mean, Andrew spends so much time with Ashley, talks more openly with her than with others, is physically and emotionally attracted to her, cuddles and sleeps in the same bed with her… he’s basically in a situationship with Ashley, just without any direct intimacy/sex (...yet)
There are even more CGs/story beats that parallel between the scenes… but I felt like the post image stuff was most notable… Andy just can't catch a break, can he?

The metaphor is obvious, in game item descriptions while playing as Andrew in Ep3A… but I thought this edit about the flowers (especially pink and gold ones) might be appropriate for today (if you don’t get it dw) (also this edit is over a year old and I sat on it until now lol)
Andrew is a guy who constantly thinks and overthinks, so naturally he has many moments where he’s panicking about something (sometimes justified, sometimes not). Which of these moments, either positive or negative, are YOUR favorite / most significant?
(The Andrew Ep2 reaction after the Burial Questionable Dream is so great, the transition to Andrew’s CG of him blushing is hilarious, I don’t think I’ve seen a let’s player fail to laugh at that moment, and the whole conversation is just amazing, no wonder people people go with “Never say Never!”, hoping to see more moments like this (and Andrew and Ashley doing… yeah))
