I finally got around to re-ranking speed. I have to say my ranking has changed a good amount since my first listen. I’m super excited to see where Evan goes with this new music under his actual name. I can’t wait to see how much he improves vocally, see him hopefully he experiment with different genres, maybe collab with some new people (I would love to see a collab with Bennett Coast in particular), and overall see how far he goes. I really hope he full blows up and gets the recognition that he deserves under his actual name other than just being called Vanoss.

1.breathe - This song is just great, definitely Evan’s best vocal performance yet.

3.sickening - Grew on me so so much, I now love this song. This and pe$o$ are honestly interchangeable for me.
4.flowers - This song is just a vibe, it feels like a nice breezy summer evening/night.
5.mailman - I really like the instrumental. Just another really good song. Interchangeable with flowers for me, it’s honestly a tie for different reasons.
6.snail - This is fun and enjoyable but the length brings it down for me.
7.ransom - This song (mainly the beginning and instrumental) really reminds me and sounds like Now I Know You by Bennett Coast.
8.mammet - I still think this would fit great in Invincible. I really like this song but the length really drags it down for me. Interchangeable with ransom for me.
9.skin - Has definitely grown on me on me a bit, but at the same time I don’t quite know how I fully feel about this song. I have to say my favorite part of the song is the chorus.

I was rewatching Scotty and Marcel reacting to Dude I’m Not Scared and it wondering if the face cam would ever come back. With Evan releasing new music and him being on camera more, I’m hoping it means he’s now more comfortable with being on camera whether that be on the Vanoss channel, any of the other guys in the group channels, podcasts, etc.

These rankings are based on first listen and can easily change later on, and some of the rankings are slightly interchangeable. My main complaint at this moment is that it felt way too short, and there is some room for improvement on Evan’s vocals on some of these songs (he sounded great on Breathe and pe$o$). But I completely understand since he’s new to the vocals part in comparison to the production.

1. Breathe - definitely the best choice for the lead singles along with pe$o$

   4.mailman - My favorite part of this song is the beat. Originally listened to this song after pe$o$ released when it was accessible on the Avant Garden website.
   5.flowers
   6.mammet - This was one of the snippets I saw Evan post on his Instagram story and was super excited to finally listen to the full song. The transition from sickening was pretty clean. It reminds me of a song that could be on Invincible. I wish the song was longer.

   8.skin - The vocals are interesting.
   9.Sickening - This and skin are really the only songs I’m not quite sure about just yet.
