Regular Service Disruption

Hi guy, Just wanted to share with you my experience and unfortunately, it’s not good. I switched to Popcorn just a few weeks ago. I am in Spain. Set up was fine and quick and I was able to use it. A few days ago, I noticed that I was not getting any data so I checked, both phone and text was disconnected too. Contacted their support and went through the troubleshooting but they couldn’t solve the problem. Eventually, they had to install a new eSIM and it worked again. Today, I had a friend called and said he was trying to call me but couldn’t reach me. And I didn’t have any missed calls. I didn’t think much of it as I was able to talk to him today so the phone was fine. And just now, I noticed there was no signal bar at all. Did some test, data, phone, text all disconnected again. And who knows if this had happened multiple times in the last few days and I just didn’t know it. So far, the service is very unreliable and I won’t recommend it if you have to use it to receive important calls.

Using popcorn in China

As you know, some apps like Facebook or Google are blocked in China and you need VPN to access them. Anyone has experience using Popcorn while traveling in China? Do you need VPN for Facebook and Google?

Can Popcorn be second line?

Tello is interfering with my Spanish Orange line so I am thinking about switching to Popcorn. I still need the Spanish Orange to be the main sim and the default data provider and use Popcorn as the default voice provider but keep the data roaming off. Is it possible?

Using/ Activating Tello Overseas

I am wondering if someone has the same issue as I do. I know Tello’s current policy does not let you activate your phone when you are overseas. I currently spend most of my time in country in Europe and I wanted to cut down the cost for my mobile as I was using another U.S. carrier. Their coverage has been great even in Europe but I wanted to save some money so I switched to Tello just few days ago. So basically, I now have an European carrier which is my main one and the default data provider and Tello as secondary and as the default voice provider. I noticed that whenever I turned Tello on, my main carrier‘s data speed goes down noticeably. And when I turned Tello off, the speed goes back up. Tello support won’t help as it’s activated abroad. ChatGPT thinks the issue is not because the phone is activated abroad but Tello somehow is causing interference with my main European phone data. Anyone in similar situation experiences the similar issue? How did you fit it? I need Tello to work all the time as it’s my main phone number but I also want my European phone data not run on reduced speed.
