I have been talking to a recruiter about a waiver for epilepsy that I have on my record. I wasn’t exactly diagnosed since the neurologist I had couldn’t prove that I had it. I had to take medication as a precaution for epilepsy. I have had many scans on my brain and all of them have been seen as “perfectly normal”. I have a history of me taking medication and it’s been 6 years since I’ve been off of the medication so I meet the timeline to join the military from what I have researched. The recruiter says that I need a waiver and I could get the 18x contract that I am seeking. I am wondering if that is true.
