last month was brutal

At the federal Job Corps, something strange is going on with the computer system. I have been having trouble and completely lost access. Some of the higher-ranking personnel with a lot of experience tried to get me back into CIS and my Job Corps email using my personal cell phone as an authenticator. This is the standard method the Forest Service Job Corps uses for authentication. I have heard there are easier and better ways to do this, but they are expensive, which is probably why the Forest Service Job Corps continues to use this current method.

It is just really strange. My supervisor worked on it for an entire day, and we still were not sure if I would have access when I come in on Monday morning. I hear rumors that I am not the only one who cannot get online. I just don't know anymore. I feel like I am somehow at fault, but when I think about it, the only place I ever experience problems like this is at Job Corps. I wanted to get this documented. Something is definitely going on with the system.

The computers don't work like they should at job corps

This message is more for staff than it is for students, but I am sure it affects students too. The computers at Job Corps are not working correctly. I entered my password correctly, and it tells me I am entering the wrong password. I can't get into the system to do my work.

Am I still expected to finish my work on time when the computer system is down? Am I being held accountable for not doing my work properly, and am I still being graded?

Management addresses many things, but when it comes to the computer system—Citrix, CIS, LMS, and the major programs we use to do our jobs and communicate—they say nothing. Don't you think someone should let us know when there is going to be a problem with the system so we can stress out just a little less? Instead, it seems like management just keeps operating like nothing is wrong.
