My 2008 SG Special Faded
Thought I’d share this with the world. When I was younger we didn’t have much money but my parents really supported me learning guitar. For my 7th birthday they got me my first guitar, a sunburst squire Stratocaster. I immediately fell in love with it and played it every day for years. Over the next few years I listened to more and more music and gravitated towards ACDC. I would play them in my Walkman, play their songs on my squire and hopped on one leg in my bedroom thinking in Angus Young lol.
Christmas 2009 dad surprised me with a gig bag which in the front said Gibson. I couldn’t fathom how he got the money for it or how fortunate I was to be getting a Gibson. I unzipped the bag to find this 2008 Special faded SG in cherry red. After 16 years I still play this guitar most days and will never sell it! It’s awesome.
