I know this question has been asked a bunch in this chat already, but I just wanted to know if anyone had any advice given my situation. For context, I am studying in the US on F1 status and about to enter my Sophomore year. As I'm applying for internships, I often come across the dreaded "do you need sponsorship now or in the future" and I always try to answer honestly so I say yes. But now I'm getting emails within 24 hours of applying of just rejection. I even got an email within 24 hours of an application saying that I was only rejected due to my need for a visa. The roles I'm applying for align with my degree and kind of with the TN occupation list. I would appreciate any advice moving forward.

I've been trying to find information on this but I seem to be running into roadblocks. For some context, I'm a rising sophomore at a semi-target school and would like to recruit for S&T. I spent the whole of Freshman year thinking I'd do IB but after exploring more, I've found a genuine passion for S&T. I'm just curious if anyone has any advice for recruiting? I'm already knocking down technicals and market questions, but I would like more info on recruiting timelines, which banks to target, how to network (as compared to IB) and what I should just genuinely look out for. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
